The Soft Start panel is designed to eliminate high inrush currents when starting motors/pumps.
Basic (SSB)
Single ramp profile, limited control and adjustment, plus limited ramp times.
Advanced (SSA)
Multiple ramp time profiles, extended ramp time along with many other adjustable options to suit most applications.

* The standard configuration is not suitable for installation in direct sunlight, enquire for other options.
* Maximum ambient operating temperature: 50C Higher temperatures available upon request.
* Maximum relative humidity: 95%, non - condensing.
* 3 phase 400/415 VAC systems - neutral is required.
* Purpose built systems from 7.5KW to 1MW available.

The Soft Start panel is designed to eliminate high inrush currents when starting motors/pumps. Soft Starters limit the motor current to a level that will allow the motor to start and get up to
speed at a controlled rate. Conventional DOL (Direct On Line) starting inflicts high inrush currents up to 8 times the full load current of the motor (stall or locked rotor current) causing voltage dips and also mechanical shock.
