SnapperPlus can easily be changed from pressure control to level control or flow control. If level control is
required, simply connect the Snapper Controller to a level sensor in a tank, set it to Level mode and adjust the level settings and response rate. Snapper Plus will then hold the tank level at the required point.
The Snapper Plus operates by turning pumps on and off as required and by controlling the pump speed to keep either the pressure, flow, or tank level at the desired setting. The SnapperPlus Variable Speed system utilises software developed by Techsys to vary the speed of the pump, and accurately control the system according to
feedback from an analogue sensor. Other equipment, such as valve controls, can be connected to the SnapperPlus to help control when or how the pumps work. The SnapperPlus is commonly used to run smaller buildings or commercial garden systems, where accurate control is required. It also has in-built features to help protect the system when faults occur.
